*Important information for trouble-free installation*.
To ensure a smooth installation, please note the following points:
- Ensure a minimum access width of 42 inches/1.1 meters to reach the work area.
- Ensure a clearance of about 5 feet /1.5 meters wide along the determined line.
- Proper site levelling is essential.
Please inform us of :
- Any excavation work in progress or planned near the determined line.
- The presence of hedges (cedar or deciduous).
- Staircases or significant height differences.
- The presence of roots and/or trees near the specified line.
- The presence of undesirable rock, boulders, concrete or fill.
*All items are billable!
Please also provide us with :
- The location of your private networks (pool pipes, irrigation, electrical wires, etc.).
- A functional water outlet.
- Bollards or a valid certificate of location (our teams will help you identify the measurements, but will not be held responsible for any errors in location).
*Please note:*
- Soil collection is an additional service. We recommend that you keep the soil around the posts for support and remove it after a 48-hour cure. A fee of 45$ per standard hole will be charged for moving (on your property) the soil, and 65$ per hole for complete removal (scrap fee).
- If asphalt and/or pavers are present, a fee of 65$ will be charged for their removal. Please note that this fee does not include repair or reinstallation if necessary.
If the above points are not complied with, additional charges will be added to your final invoice:
- Unnecessary displacement: 200$.
- Hand-hole in suitable terrain: 65$ per hole.
- Hand-drilled holes in the presence of rock, concrete, roots or undesirable fill: 75$ to 100$ per hole.
- Time lost (decision-making, pruning, site clean-up, etc.): 155$ per hour.
*If you need to use heavy machinery and/or a rock drill for difficult digging,*.
This may involve minimum travel costs due to the digging attempt. A new estimate will be provided to ensure that the work complies with standards and norms, allowing us to honor our warranties. You can rest assured that our qualified staff will provide you with a robust and durable installation.
